New, Local Features added to DISH Decision 2008 Interactive Platform

As November draws nearer, staying informed about this complicated election year just got a little easier. DISH Network has added new features to the DISH Decision 2008 Interactive Platform, including categories such as "My Elections," "News," and "Polls." Existing applications such as "You Decide 08" and "For President" feature new designs and updated information.

"My Elections" allows DISH Network subscribers access to localized, unbiased information about U.S. House and Senate races within their states and other states. The iTV platform matches a subscriber's zip code against a database of U.S. House and Senate candidates and provides his or her local candidate information to DISH Network subscribers. The service also provides information about gubernatorial races.

DISH Network launched its interactive election portal in January to provide unbiased, local and national election coverage and information to its over 13.8 million subscribers. If you're not currently a subscriber, you can contact All American Dish to get a great programming deal. For a limited time, we'll give you $100 cash back plus $120 in programming credits. You can also upgrade to the award-winning HD DVR receiver for free and pay nothing for activation or installation. This is a great time to get signed up! DISH Network and NBC launch Interactive Ads

On May 20, 2008, DISH Network Corporation and NBC Universal announced an agreement to provide interactive trigger capabilities to NBC Universal's 14 television networks and 10 NBC owned-and-operated TV stations. DISH Network(r) subscribers who have a digital video recorder (DVR) will be able to use their remote controls to request more information from advertisers about their products or to receive coupons for various product discounts.

As consumer TV-watching patterns are changing, the initiative will provide advertisers with detailed reports and information about viewer participation with DISH Network's interactive products. Viewers will also benefit from the ability to instantaneously get more information about an advertised product. When finished, viewers are returned to their programming at the exact place they exited.

DISH Network subscribers with DVRs are able to view this interactive functionality. DISH Network's latest award-winning HD DVR, the ViP722, is a dual-tuner receiver that can record up to 500 hours of programming, more than any other DVR on the market. The ViP722 operates two televisions, one in HD and the other in standard definition, allowing customers to view programming from the receiver in separate rooms at the same time.
